What's been going on...

In role-playing news I finally got to start my Arabian campaign and I'm loving it, still working things out as we go along being a new DM and all but we've had fun so far. I have discovered though that I'm not very good at adjusting my plot to allow for players not being in the same places at the same time; their characters come from different walks of life so they tend to split up and do their own thing until a specific story quest comes into play. This works fine when a given story quest has been planned, but when an unexpected (and plot important) encounter occured the other night one of them wasn't there which caused me to unintentionally leave him out as a consequence of him role-playing well! I am getting better at this, as said circumstance managed to get the rest of them into the same position despite them going off to do different things, but it now occurs that I could have delayed said unexpected encounter by contriving a little more to have them all go back and visit the missing PC. Oh well, I guess I'll know for next time!

As for the rest, less ill than I was but everybody seems to have been plagued by ailments of varying degrees of severity since term begun. I've only really got a minor cough for now, but it does mean I'm very behind on work. I'm also obsessed with Fallout 3 and hope to receive it very soon, I even have source material allowing the setting to be played pen & paper using modified D20 rules... okay, enough rambling
